Cowshed Stretch Mark Cream: I owe this one to Haleigh! This cream has been great so far! I put it on my pregnant belly every night and even though it has the Vix Vaporub feel to it, it seems to be doing the trick! For my Canadian friends: DO NOT ORDER TO CANADA. Send it to the states and bring it across the border. I spent $30 in duties.
Hydrasense Eye drops: Never thought I’d see the day I’d be bringing eyedrops to work, but lo and behold here I am. My dry eyes have continued into the second trimester and I was concerned about putting drops into my eyes that were harmful to the baby. My doctor assured me that this brand would be totally fine and it has worked great!
Hugo Naturals Chamomile Soap: I’ve found that pregnancy has made my skin really sensitive and prone to irritation. This soap smells like heaven on earth and isn’t harsh on my skin.
Zoya Nail Polish: I was concerned about putting nail polish on during pregnancy. I did some research and found Zoya, which is free of: formaldehyde, resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, TPHP, parabens, xylene, ethyl, tosylamide, and lead. Winning!
Nourilash: I have gone back to using my typical L’oreal mascara, but for my first and beginning of the second trimester, my eyes were having an allergic reaction to it. Nourilash helped to eliminate my irritation and still helped me not to feel like I was 11 again without makeup on!
Dresses: I sit at an office desk all day and by the end of the workday my feet were swollen and painful. I visited my midwife who complimented me on my pants but said, “If you keep wearing those pants into your third trimester you are going to keep swelling…way worse”. I guess the tightness of the pants cuts off circulation. Who knew. Anyway, I bought dresses from PinkBlush and am so thankful to have normal sized feet at the end of the day!
