I officially have everything that I am taking for my fertility and figured I’d write it on here for people who may be searching for some supplements and new ideas!
The first are adreno co pills that the doctor prescribed to support my adrenals, in addition to HPTP.
The second is fermented cod liver oil that I take as a liquid. I was horrified by the taste at first, but now I totally crave it.
I never thought I’d see the day that I’d be taking seeds for hormone balancing, but here I am! I am seed cycling. Seed cycling is where you eat certain seeds throughout your cycle to support your hormones.
From Days 1 – Ovulation: Eat 1 Tbsp of ground flax and 1 Tbsp of pumpkin seeds.
From Ovulation – Period: Eat 1 Tbsp of ground sesame seeds and 1 Tbsp of sunflower seeds.
Believe it or not, I am totally ok eating the flax bombs (water and ground flax) but the ground sesame seeds leave a lot to be desired. My goal is to figure out how to stomach them in a smoothie recipe.
I am also doing caster oil packs. Those are where you put caster oil on your stomach area, cover it with some flannel and put a hot pack overtop. The caster oil packs help to clear your body of excess hormones and balance you out. I do this after my period to ovulation. (Buy this from a place like Choices Market or Natures Fare).
Lastly, I am taking a prenatal vitamin.
So far, I haven’t noticed a difference except that I have broken out like a 14 year old girl. The struggle is real. I guess I will see how all of this works!
